Fender Stratocaster
I bought a Fender Stratocaster.
I’ve always wanted a Fender guitar since I started playing the guitar and finally got it.
Fender was an iconic brand of guitar to me when I started playing guitar, I didn’t know any of brand but Fender and Gibson. Now I know many guitar brands but I chose it because it just sounds and feels good. Also, I hadn’t had any guitar which has single coil pickups. Personally, I think single coil guitar and humbucker guitar are totally different things, output power, dynamics, noise etc, and that makes me want to try different amps and effects pedals. Single coil guitar is new to me, even though I’ve been playing guitar for a really long time.
When I tried this guitar at a music store, I felt it’s well-balanced guitar in many ways, the sound, playability, and prices. It seems the pickup on this guitar is new and was made for this series, it’s called “V-mod pickup” and it has different magnets between higher strings side and lower side.
And these frets on this guitar are “narrow tall fret”, it’s quite smooth to bend strings.
I still don’t know all the features and potential of this guitar yet, but I’m excited to try many different effects or amp’s with this one. I probably will write about how it goes here.

買ってしまいました。
Fender American Professional Stratocaster
数ヶ月前から迷ってたんですがついに買いました。Fenderのギターはギター始めた辺りからずっと欲しかったんです。
ギター始めた時はブランドとか見た目でいいなって思ってましたが、最近はずっと音に惹かれてました。これ買う前に色々なストラトタイプのギターを試奏しましたが、結局Fender買う事にしました。自分が今求めてる物に一番近かったので。
そもそも僕はシングルコイルピックアップのギターを一本も持ってなかったので欲しかったってのもあります。個人的にシングルコイルのギターとハムバッカーのギターは別次元の楽器位違うと思ってます。出力も違えばダイナミクスも違うので、使うエフェクターや弾き方も変えたくなりますね。
このギターは音、弾きやすさ、価格共にバランスが良いと思ってます、細かい事はまだ手に入れたばっかりなので分かりませんが。このギターのフレットはナロートールフレットでチョーキングが非常にやりやすい。ピックアップはV-MODというやつで新しく開発されたものらしいです、高音弦側と低音弦側で違う種類のマグネットを使っているとか。
American Professional シリーズはAmerican Standardシリーズの後継にあたるものです、テレキャスターなども同じような仕様になってるので気になります(テレキャスターもいつか欲しい) でAmerican Eliteシリーズはこれの上位機種的な位置付けだと思います。個人的にはElite買うならSuhrとかIbanezのAZシリーズもありかなって思いますけどね。
やはりピックアップがシングルなので手持ちのエフェクターとかケーブルを全部試してみたくなりますね、ハムバッカーと比べた時の違いとかを動画にしたりこのブログに載せていこうかと思ってます。楽しみですね！
DIY loop switcher pedal (EN)
I’ve made this pedal recently, so I’m going to write what this is and what it can do.
This is a loop switcher pedal, you might know what this is if you are a guitarist.
It consists of effect loops that you can switch by a footswitch. And you can connect effect pedals to each effect loop then you can control effects with one push. This also has another feature which you can connect it to a guitar amp and change its channels by footswitch. That means you can control effects and amp’s channels simultaneously.
Well, it’s nothing complicated, I just combined an amp switcher and a loop switcher. I didn’t even add a LED or coloring, but I wanted to make this because I use different effect pedals with each different amp’s channels. I used to control each effects and amp’s channels by foot but it’s really not practical when you play a song, I needed to change all by one push. I could have bought a product that has this kind of futures but it’d be big and expensive so I decided to make this.
It was so simple and cheap to make it, noting is like an overdrive pedal.
自作ループスイッチャー (JP)
今日はこれについて書こうと思います。
これは何かというと、自作したループスイッチャーです。ループスイッチャーなら多く市販の製品が出ているのですが今回はあえて自作したのです。それはある機能が欲しかったから。
これはループを切り替えるのと同時にアンプのチャンネルを切り替えることができます。
二つのループを切り替えることができるのでアンプがクリーンチャンネルの時はループA、歪みチャンネルの時はループBということをワンアクションで切り替えられる事になります。
例えばクリーンchの時はコンプレッサーとコーラスを使いたくて歪みchの時はブースターを使いたい場合、普通に直列に繋いだらアンプのチャンネルを切り替える度に何回もエフェクターを切り替えないといけないですがこれ使えば一回踏めばそれが出来ますよって事です。
大型のループスイッチャーなら同じ事出来るんですが、小さいサイズの物は見当たらなかったので作ってみました。
作りはシンプルで電源も必要無いし、LEDも付いて無いです。
しかしスイッチが一つしかないのでバイパスは出来ません、常にどちらかのループがオンになっています。
裏蓋を開けてみると…

もっと小さく作れたかも知れませんね。
これでエフェクター使った時の煩わしさから開放されます。
Hamamatsu (EN)
A few days ago, I visited a city called Hamamatsu in Shizuoka Prefecture as meeting a friend from university. It’s been a while since I met him last time.
I don't go on a domestic trip often, especially alone, I felt kinda strange to leave Tokyo just for fun.
I used a highway bus to get there as it seemed the cheapest way. The time I went off on the trip was in the middle of a holiday week here (it’s called Golden week) I should have booked a bus well in advance, It did cost almost twice as much as normal price.
As soon as I got to the bus stop, I met him and his friend and then went to have lunch with them.
We had a hamburg steak at a place called ”Sawayaka”
It was really tasty than I expected, I can highly recommend the restaurant.
Even though the city was quiet, we had to wait in line before we get in the restraint as it proves it's popular.
After that we went to his place, we had much to talk about.
The next day, we went off to see some shrine (I forgot the name of it).
We had Indian curry for lunch at this place.
Name of the restaurant is so long as you can see :D
The food was really good as well, I got interested in to make curry because the restaurant explained how curry spices are good for health.
I had a time before my bus leaves, so we went to a music shop to try something new.
There are many new multi-effects pedals these days, I’ve got to check them out.
浜松 (JP)
先日、大学時代の友達と会うために浜松まで行って一泊してきました。
あんまり国内旅行しないんでなんか新鮮な気分でした、最後にいつ静岡県に行ったかすら覚えてない。
高速バスで行ったんですがゴールデンウィーク中だったのでバスの価格は平常時の二倍くらいでした、まぁ仕方ない。
早速浜松に着いて友達と合流、昼だったので昼食をとることに。
乗ったバスが降りる時に支払いするタイプのバスでした。東京以外ってみんなあのタイプなのかな？
さわやかというハンバーグ屋さんに行きます。
因みにここ、静岡県にしかなくとても有名な所らしいです。10分程待ちましたが普通昼どきは1時間待ち位らしいです。
僕はおすすめだと言われたげんこつハンバーグを注文。普通のハンバーグレストランと比べると値段は少し高いけどその価値はありました。
グルメリポートみたいな事は僕はできませんが、とにかく味は良かったです。今まで食べたハンバーグの中でトップ5に入るくらいでした。素材が良いのか調理法が上手いのか。
その後は雨が降りはじめていたので友人宅へ行って音楽の事やギターの事喋ってました。
機材の話は始めたら本当に尽きないって感じでしたね。
夕食は餃子作って頂きました。ここまで食べてばっかりですけど次の日も食べてばっかりです。
翌日は晴れていたので観光する事に、
場所の名前は忘れたので笑 写真だけ載せときます。
少し自然を見た後、昼食を取りにカレー屋に
なんか凄い名前ですね
インドカレーかスリランカカレーか選べたのでスリランカカレーを頂きました。味は普通に美味しかったです。辛口を選んで食べられるか不安でしたが大丈夫でした。カレーのスパイスが健康に良いみたいな事が書いてあったのでちょっと気になります。
その後は時間が余ったので楽器屋に行ってエフェクターを試奏したりしてました。最近マルチエフェクター増えてきましたね、後でチェックします。
そんな感じで今回の旅は終わりでした。友人と久しぶりに会えたし、美味しい物食べられて良かった。あと友人の猫が可愛かったかな。
